Hello everyone,
Welcome back. If you are reading this, then I assume that you still want to make a website.
I just found out that no online course will be offered by the district at this time, but you don't really need one to get started. I am going to assist you through the process of learning to use WebBlender to create your site. It is really easy to use, and Olympia already has the right to use up to 100 copies- first come first served! If you are interested, come to room 213 in the Media Center on Wednesday, April 9 during your planning period. I have reserved the time after school on Wednesday for those who need extra help. For the next few weeks, (or longer if necessary,) I will also be available during A & B lunches to assist anyone who is trying to build a new site. Just let me know when you want to meet.
We can use this wiki as our classroom space to ask and answer questions and collaborate on this project. If you would like to participate, just ask to become a member of this site.
I'll see you on the 9th!

Unless you gave me your surveys while in the media center last Wednesday, then I would like to ask you to please fill out the surveys I put in your boxes. You should also have received a concept map to lay out the main pages of your site and the steps you need to follow. I have sent an email to Marcus and Lisa asking them to load WebBlender2 onto your computers. I will ask them again to load copies onto the computers in 213 as well so that we can meet during lunch. If you registered for a site last Wednesday and you hear back from the county that you can publish to the server, please let me know. Thanks for working with us, and good luck getting started.
